The Ladders Too High for Piano and Fixed Media was originally written as a final project for a musicology course regarding the yearly tradition of Carnival. When molding this piece, many of the pieces of music protesting the issues in society caught me off guard in how pleasant and catchy they ended up being while advocating for their rights against fascism.
